Meath County Council Pride of Place School Gardening Scheme

St Mary’s Primary school is participating in the Meath County Council Pride of Place School Gardening Scheme. The aim of the initiative is to provide school children the opportunity to learn about, and be active in some level of gardening (flowers, vegetables, etc.)


Planting Wild Cherry Tree March 2024

Pupils from our autism classes planting a Wild Cherry tree that we received from Trees on the Land initiative. Trees on the Land is a cross-border initiative working to establish young native trees across the 32 counties of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. What this space….we are expecting a delivery of Beech trees in the coming weeks.


Daffodils – Autism classes and First classes

We kicked off the school year (September 2023) sowing daffofil bulbs with our three first classes and our three autism classes. We were delighted to see them bloom this Spring, 2024.
