Christmas 2016 Volume 13 Issue 3 28/11/2016
Christmas Fair
Thank you to everyone for supporting the Christmas Fair yesterday, Sunday 27th November. It was a great community event and marked the start of our Christmas celebrations in Enfield. Thank you to the Parents Association and all who volunteered to assist on the day. Also a big thank you to Santa who managed to find the time to come visit us at this busy time of year. I have been informed this morning by the Parents Association Committee that they have lodged the proceeds of the day, €4,500 to the bank. This money will be allocated in the coming months. The Parents Association recently purchased a new photocopier for the school and also donated money towards the library, which gives a total donation of €9,500 for the school year to date. We are grateful for this ongoing support which helps greatly to provide resources to give our children the best possible learning environment. We also received a donation of laptops for the school in the past term, which will be put to good use. Enda Flynn
The school has been informed that the Christmas tree lights for the village will be turned on at 8.00pm on Saturday 3rd December.
